Sleepy Hollow, NY, - March, 2006 Dharma Systems, Inc., a developer and marketer of data access technology, announced the release of Dharma/SQL 11.0

Dharma/SQL has been an industry standard in data access and interoperability software since its introduction over a decade ago. Dharma proudly announces the 11th release of its flagship product as it continues to honor its committment to keep pace with the latest in SQL technology and standards.

The focus for Release 11.0 was performance. Significant performance improvements were achieved through a combination of optimized code, new query optimization techniques, reduced network calls, reduced data copying, extensive usage of the heap manager and new efficient data conversion routines . These changes resulted in upto a 60% performance improvement in the standard AS3AP benchmarks over release 10.0.
